99 per cent of communities would invite ICV back

ICV’s Project Impact Analysis for the first six months of 2009-10 has shown that 99 per cent of ICV’s clients would invite us back. This is strong evidence of the value and impact that our volunteers are achieving.

ICV recently completed a community engagement trip to Tasmania and initiated over 30 projects across the state.

ICV facilitated 33,000 days of volunteer service in 2008-09

The impact analysis in ICV’s latest Annual Report reveals that ICV had a direct and positive impact on 25,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lives last year. This resulted from over 33,000 days of human service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

An innovative men’s health program in Katherine, NT, would like help from a male volunteer with drafting plans for some buildings which will be used for activities and training by Indigenous men in the area. You need to be an architect, architectural/structural draftsman or similar with CAD skills.
