Senior Community Development Officer – South East Region

We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a suitably experienced Senior Community Development Officer to join our team. Reporting to a Melbourne-based Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Melbourne and Victoria. The main outcomes will be development of community projects to address identified needs.
Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and forge and maintain productive relationships with Indigenous and non-Indigenous stakeholders including communities, governments, non-government organisations, and corporate and professional partners.
Established networks within the Melbourne and Victorian Indigenous community are an advantage.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is critical.
