Calling all Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Kilcoy locals

ICV is a registered charity and grassroots non-profit organisation with a unique community development model. We work by invitation only, on projects which are owned and driven by Indigenous communities.
ICV provides communities with much-needed access to skilled volunteers in areas where employment, economic development and education opportunities are often limited. Volunteers help build local capacity and strengthen relationships in Indigenous communities.
More local volunteers are needed across regional Australia to meet increasing requests for help from communities.
Volunteers are our greatest asset, and their dedication, skills, passion and belief in reconciliation is making a real difference to the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. ICV volunteers are matched to community development projects close to home. This builds successful long term relationships which result in positive, lasting change for the communities we work with.
ICV is seeking volunteers in the local area (Sunshine Coast, Gympie, and Kilcoy Area) to work with the community of Cherbourg.
A volunteer workshop will be held in Cherbourg on 11th & 12th of October at the Ration Shed Museum, Cherbourg Historical Precinct.
This is a great opportunity to enroll as a volunteer, get a better understanding of ICV, meet like-minded people and explore Aboriginal culture in your own backyard.
For more information or to register your attendance at the workshop, please contact Sharnee Hegarty on 07 3121 9250 or 0448 062 234 or at shegarty@icv.com.au
