Volunteer Workshop in the Top End, Darwin

We recently had a very successful volunteer induction held at our Darwin office.  

The day was filled with various in-depth discussions and activities. The historical timeline activity was one of the highlights of the day. We split the attendees up into two groups to create open and honest discussions amongst the teams. It was a definite eye-opener and a real heartfelt activity for everyone.  

We also had two incredible guest speakers, along with our very own Jess’s grandmother, who came in for the afternoon yarning session. Jess's grandmother was part of the stolen generation and shared stories on Garden Point mission from her time.  

It’s very exciting to have some great new local volunteers in the Top End to join our network of skilled volunteers!
