Story of Practice – Midwest Yamaji Music Aboriginal Inc. (MYMAI) (WA)

Produced as part of our Action Research Project, this case study is one of two that centres on Midwest Yamaji Music Aboriginal Inc. (MYMAI), a not-for-profit organisation based in Geraldton, Western Australia. MYMAI support the growth and development of musical and artistic talent in the Midwest region, and create opportunities to showcase First Nations’ talent.

This case study focuses on a five-year funding project between MYMAI and Community First Development that commenced in 2014. Specifically, it focuses on the way in which our Community Development Officer worked with MYMAI during the project, and the role she played during each stage of our community development cycle.
